Which is better Canon powershot sd1000 or powershot sd870 IS? Im down to there 2 choices but i dont know which one to get

The SD870IS is superior in every way, for about the same price. For example, it has more megapixels, has image stabilization (the SD1000 does not, I don’t think), a larger LCD screen than the SD1000. The only advantage of the SD1000 is that it is slightly more compact and lighter than the SD870IS, and it might look more stylish. But you get a lot more camera for the money with the SD870IS. I’d get the SD870IS.
